The Handover Ceremony for the Host City of the National Finals of Honor of Kings was successfully completed, Next Stop Xiaogan

From December 7thto 8th, Honor of Kings E-sports Music Festival and the 10th National Finals of theHonor of Kingswere held at the Tianya Haijiao (West Gate) in Sanya. E-sports experts from all walks of life gathered andbattledon this wonderfulstage. Meanwhile, famous singers such as Wang Yitai, Zhou Zhennan, the SNH48 girl group, and Ma Siwei delivered spectacular musical performances here.

Meanwhile, the handover ceremony for the host city of the nationalfinals of Honor of Kingswas in full swing, with the participation of Chen Jingjin, member of Standing Committee of Sanya Municipal Party Committee and executive vice mayor ofSanya Municipal Government, Xia Qiyong, vice mayor of Xiaogan Municipal People’s Government and first secretary of National High-tech Zone, and Huang Lanxiao, head of the Global E-sports Development Center of Tencent Interactive Entertainment Timi L1 Studio.

Atthe handover ceremony, executive vice mayorChen Jingjin stated this year’s Honor of Kings tournament launched a new competition mode which is featured by the fusion of e-sports andmusic festival. It brings a fresh perspective on tourism developmentofSanya’s cultural tourism industry and also pavesa unique path for the future development of the Honor of Kings National Championship. Taking this tournament as an opportunity, Sanya will further promote the deep integration of culture andsports tourismand e-sports industries, enhance service facilities, focus on public preferences, and launch a series of special products to provide everytouristswith a unique experience.

Vice mayor, Xia Qiyong made a speech at the event, “Connected through the game, we have embarked on a two-way journey, starting in Sanya and culminating in Xiaogan. For the next tournament, let us gather in beautiful Xiaoganandattend a grand feast ofHonor of Kings.”

Subsequently, Huang Lanxiao, head of the Global E-sports Development Center of Tencent Interactive Entertainment Timi L1 Studio, handed over a scroll symbolizingthe host city of the National Finals of Honor of Kings to vice mayor Chen Jingjin. He also passed the glory of the National Finals of Honor of Kings to vice mayor of Xiaogan,the next host city, signifying that the 11thNational FinalsofHonor of Kings in 2025 will be handed over from Sanya, Hainan Province, to Xiaogan, Hubei Province.
