刘继胜，一九三九年生，河南开封杞县人。中国民族建筑研究会书画艺术专业委员会副秘书长，国家一级美术师、一级书法师、高级政工师。曾任中国民航工会全国委员会副主席。中国国际航空公司调研员。

作为中国当代艺术界内的一名书画双臻者，刘继胜先生的艺术造诣和人文品质可谓都是有目共睹。他为人谦逊朴实，真诚和善，每每挥毫泼墨，皆能铸就非凡之作。其书法以传统帖学为根基，融入自身深厚积淀，临池不辍，笔耕不息，作品既脱离陈规，又独具个人风采，展现出深厚的艺术造诣。而他的绘画则更是独抒自然灵性，山水间韵致盎然，青绿可追，笔墨层层递进，意境渐入佳境，笔致流畅自如，构意生动传神，充分展现了他扎实的绘画功底。
